Beautiful, compact folding wheel made of European Birch, the Sonata combines the classic style of the other Kromski wheels with the functional needs of a wheel that folds. A full-size spinning wheel which packs away easily into a custom made heavy duty carry bag. The distinctive bag has padding on all sides plus heavy duty padding on the base, a large outside pocket for spinning supplies plus extra pockets inside.This is a perfect wheel for travelling. The flyer is single drive and uses an elastic drive band which simplifies changing speeds. The bobbins are the same design used on other Kromski wheels which means they are interchangeable with any other wheel. Also includes threading hook, attached Lazy Kate and bottle of spinning wheel oil.

THE FANTASIA

The newest of the Kromski collection, a very contemporary wheel with a single drive flyer and changeable whorl for different speeds. To change the bobbins (all Kromski bobbins fit the Fantasia), the front of the flyer pulls off - no drive band, very fast bobbin change. The wheel and the flyer spin on sealed bearings for a lovely soft feel. Great beginners wheel.

A popular classic, elegant wheel at a reasonable price, the Symphony is made from European Birch and Alder. This wheel has much of the detail synonymous with the tradition of Kromski wheels - finely turned wood, attention to detail and a lovely big wheel which rotates smoothly on bearing sleeves which translates as effortless treadling. The double treadles are engineered to be comfortable through long spinning sessions. The flyer is double drive but also has Scotch tensioning for single drive use. The bobbins hold 115gm of yarn and fit on all the other Kromski wheels. Arched Lazy Kate included at no extra cost. This wheel comes boxed as a kit and requires about an hour to assemble. It is available unfinished or with a clear, *mahogany or *walnut finish. * extra cost applies.

THE MINSTREL

A compact, portable wheel with a wide base which accommodates a larger wheel than many upright spinng wheels. Double treadle operation, the wheel is easily mounted on two support posts, with a third post for an optional distaff. The Mistral is a double drive wheel but comes standard with Scotch tension for a single drive feel. Threading hook and extra whorl are conveniently stored in front of the wheel for easy access. Bobbins hold 150gms yarn and they fit on all the other Kromski wheels. The Minstrel is made of European alder and birch, is easy to assemble and includes a threading hook and bottle of spinning wheel oil. Available unfinished, clear, walnut or mahogany finish.
