Bright, strong colours. Simple dyeing method with the addition of Glauber Salt and Texacid to the dyebath. Primaries give a good range of intermediate shades. Selected colours in this range of dyes may be printed and handpainted, requiring steaming for fixation. Dyes have good light and washing fastness. Red denotes primary colours.

Our Colour Charts should only be used as a guide to the colour range and for the difference between colours. Screen graphics do not allow us to accurately reproduce the dye colours. Please note also that dye colours will vary on different fibres, ie Cotton, Silk and Rayon. If colour is important, you should purchase small quantities for testing purposes prior to finalising your order. There may also be some variance in colours between batches and dye lots.
